In the Prague square, there are no wishing well and dancing corridors. But there are golden roofs, doves and beautiful stained glass windows. Prague, mentioned in the pop song, is located in the heart of Europe and is the capital of Czech Republic.

Czech glass stands out in the international competition for its tradition, unique techniques and innovative design. Czech glass is splendid, we can know that from the flat glass of the windshield of the car to the luxurious chandeliers of the hotel, from the architectural glass measured in tons to the crystal jewelry measured in milligrams.

陶溪川·景德镇国际工作室系列讲座本期邀请到来自捷克的华裔独立艺术家，张丹，于2021年6月30日晚上8点，在陶溪川旗舰店二楼报告厅带来主题为《溢彩流光——捷克玻璃艺术巡旅》的讲座，同时我们会在陶溪川国际云讲座平台进行同步直播。
Taoxichuan Jingdezhen International Studio is very pleased to invite Czech Independent Artist, Dan Zhang Gajdosova. The title of this week's lecture is “ Glorious Art Tour ”. The lecture will be held on Wednesday 20:00(BST), June 30, at the lecture hall in Taoxichuan Ceramic Art Avenue Flagship Shop, 2nd floor. In the lecture, Dan Zhang Gajdosova will lead us to open the Czech glass art tour. On the basis of chronological order, the lecture introduces grass works from tradition to innovation, from brand to individual. With Dan's explanation, we can understand the general situation of Czech glass art, appreciate the classic glass works and appreciate the charm of talented artists.

捷克 (Czech Republic)，地处欧洲中部，是欧盟成员国之一。历史上，捷克曾被称为波希米亚王国，直到19世纪，捷克语仍被称作波西米亚语。一战结束，捷克与斯洛伐克合并为捷克斯洛伐克共和国，1993年又与斯洛伐克和平分立，成为两个独立的国家，至今一直保持着友好的外交关系。走过历史的动荡，今天的捷克常居“全球最发达的30个国家”名录之列。
Czech Republic, located in central Europe, is one of the member states of the European Union. Historically, Czech was known as the Kingdom of Bohemia, and until the 19th century, the Czech language was still called Boho. At the end of World War I, the Czech Republic and Slovakia merged into the Czechoslovak Republic. In 1993, they separated peacefully and became two independent countries. They have maintained friendly diplomatic relations ever since. Through the vicissitudes of history, today's Czech Republic often ranks among the "30 most developed countries in the world."

The Czech Republic has a long history of glass and ceramic making, with glass making traditions dating back to the 13th century. Its products are widely recognized internationally. According to local conditions, the Czech people make full use of their own production of sand, kaolin, feldspar and silica and other mineral resources. More than 700 years of manufacturing experience, and the nature of the relentless pursuit of beauty, has brought great achievements to the Czech glass industry.

捷克玻璃制品种类繁多，品质卓越。捷克玻璃产业涵盖了从建筑工业玻璃到食品家用玻璃，从艺术装饰到实用玻璃等诸多品类的生产。在捷克，他们不仅有优秀的玻璃艺术家，还建立起驰名海外的玻璃品牌。悠久的玻璃制造历史，发展出许多杰出的玻璃艺人、玻璃世家。他们将玻璃制作技艺代代相传，到了当代，更是将先进的设计思维融入玻璃生产当中。人们耳熟能详的奢华洛世奇水晶创始人，就来自捷克的玻璃世家。
Czech glass products are of great variety and excellent quality. The Czech glass industry covers the production of glass from construction industry to household, from glass artworks to practical utensils. In Czech there are excellent glass artists and well-known glass brand. After long history of glass manufacturing, there appears many outstanding glass artists and glass family. They have handed down their glass-making techniques from generation to generation. In modern times, they have incorporated advanced design thinking into glass production. The founder of Swarovski is from a glass family in Czech Republic.

捷克玻璃在国际市场中的竞争优势在于：传统、独特工艺，以及创新设计。设计理念别具一格，技艺精湛，工艺独特，使得玻璃制品成为捷克最成功的出口项目之一。据捷克《2016年陶瓷玻璃行业年报》，玻璃和陶瓷制品出口总量占生产量的95%。其中，出口以玻璃为主，占比88%。不仅如此，七成的玻璃产品出口到了欧洲，出口目的地包括：德国、斯洛伐克、波兰等。这样来看，捷克玻璃的成就可见一斑。
The competitive advantages of Czech glass in the international market are its tradition, unique processes, and innovative design. What make glass production become one of the most successful export production are the unique design thinking and superb techniques. According to the Czech "2016 Annual Report of Ceramic and Glass Industry", the total volume of exports of glass and ceramic products accounted for 95% of production. Among them, exports to glass, accounting for 88%. Not only that, 70% of the glass products are exported to Europe, including Germany, Slovakia, Poland, and so on. In this way, the achievements of Czech glass can be seen.

自1992年，张丹移居捷克，除了在捷克、斯洛伐克和德国多次举办个展，她还在捷克出版了插画集。同时，她是中捷文化交流的使者，曾多次带领双边玻璃代表团互访。张丹老师有在捷克二十余年的生活经历，对当地的风土人情了如指掌。她和玻璃艺术家不期而遇，结下深刻的友谊。这场讲座，不仅仅推动文化的交流，还是张丹老师对友人的致敬。
Since 1992, Dan Zhang Gajdosova moved to the Czech Republic. In addition to several solo exhibitions in Czech, Slovakia, and Germany, she has also published a collection of illustrations in the country. At the same time, she is an emissary of cultural exchanges between China and the Czech Republic. So she has led bilateral glass delegations to exchange visits on many occasions. Dan has lived in the Czech Republic for more than 20 years and knows the local customs and conditions well. She has a deep friendship with the glass artist. This lecture is not only to promote cultural exchange, but also to pay tribute to her friends.
